    Good food. Good service. Wish this diner were still open but the lounge area is comfortable. Sitting at bar to eat is a great option if you are alone.

    It's not a 5 star dining experience, but it is 5 stars for what it is... Old Portland bar and pub grub. Used to stop in for happy hour after work when I got off the train nearby. Wasn't impressed one way or another. But hubby and I have visited a few times recently for lunch/dinner and we are super impressed. Solid food. Stiff pours. Reasonable prices. Good service almost consistently. (There is a really awesome manager... always in Sunday afternoons at least... his name *might* be Kenny, perhaps... who is above and beyond). It is gradually added to our regular rotation!
